Did you count how many balusters there were? Did any have to be replaced or re-milled?
The detail has to make you proud.

^I know there are 35 across the front. There will be 36, eventually, but the left end of the bottom rail needs more work, before I can put the last baluster in. When they moved the stairs from the front of the porch to the side, (50+ years ago?) they had to have new railings and at least a few new balusters milled, because the opening is wider. So, when I put the railing back where it was originally, I'll have a few extra balusters, and extra length of rail to fix the problem on the front.
I am proud of how the front balusters turned out. But I'm not looking forward to going through that long process again on the sides!

Thanks! I still have a lot of work left to do. But I went back to look at the beginning today, and I forgot just how far it's come.

There are 2 updates in the following photo.
1. I just restored and reinstalled the light fixture next to the sink.
See thread for details:

2. I installed a new faucet quite awhile ago, but forgot to share photos.
