Just bought a late 1800s foursquare

Post by b-boy »

Hi everyone. After 25 years of living in a 1974 box, I've purchased a late 1800s foursquare. The deed says 1880, but based on the architecture, I think ~1895-1900. So far I'm enjoying it, although I'm afraid every time I open up a wall. You never know what you're going to find.

Hellody. Congrats on your new venture, from someone that lived in a cookie cutter house for 30 plus years. Don't forget....

BBox, believe it or not in a hundred years or so some one will look at your 1974 home with a thought of "wouldn't it be nice to live in a century home" but not this year. Welcome to the district. As Wackyshack eluded to, insanity to most is most defiantly the sane thing to be doing here. Look forward to pics.
