So much better, especially the bigger scale of the crown and base. Nice work!

Couple more pictures of my rancher. The before and after of the kitchen don't match because I swapped the location of the kitchen with the master bedroom. This is my $20 backsplash. The outlet store for Crossville Tile is close to my home so I go often. They had a box of glass tile samples that they sold me for $5. The reason I say it cost me $20 is because of the mortar and grout! Did I mention that I'm cheap, too? More on that later.

Great job! There are several of us ladies with hammers that are regulars here. Not so surprising since I think we are the nesters and we like our nests just so! I watched a show on Nature where the male bird took his time to make his nest perfect and then went out chirping for a mate. When he snagged her, she came into the nest and immediately started rejuvenating it. It is in the genes!

Welcome! We love pictures so show us more!

That is too funny, Diane! That's me; I've always said there's no such thing as a move-in ready house for me!

Hi, and adding my welcome. That kitchen back splash looks very familiar...oh yea! I did almost the exact same thing at our previous home before I sold it. Looks great.
