Lionel, my first thought was teak, a very durable wood for out of doors furniture. I would suggest tongue oil, as much as it will take, then reapplication as needed. Should last a lifetime.

So bringing a little bit of the old home back but for commercial usage. Is the building in a conservation area or just off the main drag. Being. Commercial enterprise does it have to be brought up to a specific code, door sizes, wheel chair ramps ect?

James, good article. I have known about knapp joints for years and it’s one of the first thing I look for when antiquing. Almost all American Eastlake furniture have knapp joints.drawers.
