Yes. There is no room for one. In our old kitchen, the window apron was removed and a piece of laminate was used as the backsplash. I did not want to do that in this kitchen.
Our sink is a stainless steel under mount sink.

Thanks, everyone! I feel like I should clarify that we hired painters for this job. There was no way we could have gotten this much done in one summer. However, we were/are in charge of the doors and a lot of the details such as the stairs and risers. We have been plugging away at those all summer. ...
