main attack
The brown leaves are from some of the taller Squirrel Army Bombs from earlier this week that I hadn't stripped down yet.
The pile to the left is almost entirely bittersweet I took down just today, and the berries are starting to mature so I hope the weather holds so we can get the last of it out this weekend.
I could only reach so high, even with a helpful extension of one of my new old hoes, so hopefully tomorrow with Sean's help steadying the ladder, more of the upper story vines will be out.
There are many little shoots of the bittersweet, which I assume is from berries past. When I cut them down to just above the ground, I mark them with a garbage twist tie so I know what I'll want to dig out later.
