Front Doors
The modern doors on the house needed to be replaced. They were Colonial. Old house member Lavender Bush generously offered me these doors. The green doors originally were double doors to a house of a different style than mine. I had to have the carpenter reverse the swing on one of them, had custom jams made. I also had custom leaded glass made for the doors copied from an original window I saw. The only difference is they had to stretch the design a little because the original was not quite as long. The kitchen door was installed first. It took the carpenter almost 2 years to get back to the other door because it was so much work and he intended to work on it during 'down time'.
I bought repro hinges, lock, door knobs etc and a key turn bell.
