upstairs hall
There is a curious feature in that the top landing of the stairs is still one step down from the door you can see to the right (west bedroom), and also a step down to the hallway itself. This was taken from the north bedroom, with the east bedroom door trim seen a bit to the left, and the half bath is the open door at the far end.
There is also a very narrow linen closet immediately outside and to the left of this doorway. The entrance to the attic, as we found out during inspection, is in there.
