The last major project is starting to reach the finish line! Another coat of paint on some trim and two coats on the door will make this room 100%! Just in time to enjoy the great weather outdoors. What a mess this room was. It never fails to amaze me as to what some people will do.

Yes, the bathroom is old again. Very nice.
I see that they blocked off the bathroom window and that you uncovered it. How nuts was it to block off a bathroom window?
In our Fort Lauderdale 50's ranch, there was a window above the tub that was blocked off because of an addition, and the window was sealed with painted plywood, the tiled sill was now a shelf. During the remodel I was surprised to see the jalousie window was still in place, but it is now blocked by a kitchen cabinet.
So during the bath remodel I tiled up to the ceiling, but left that alcove (and window) and tiled it in, creating a nice place to put bath items, (3 daughters, 3 different shampoo bottles), even had a nice marble sill.
The "amateur" flippers that bought that house, re did that bath, and blocked off that alcove. No shelf, no place to put anything. I was like...why???

Nice! Great inspiration to keep wall mounted sinks in the Bungalow. Is that a new sink or a salvage one?

So sorry about the delay in reply. Life and work have been over the top but in a good way! The sink was actually reclaimed from the bathroom that I gutted which they installed in the late 1950's. It is a bit too new for this bathroom but I think it looks good, seeing how it cost me nothing at all.

Pappster, your bathroom looks great. And it's nice you kept the artwork. A nice bit of homage to past residents.
