When you've got it all done, step back and say, "Damn, that looks good!" is when you feel like having others take a look. I know this only in theory so far.

I'm saving up little jobs that I seem to get to the 90 percent mark.. One day I'll start finishing them all and feel great about it.. That's my theory but it doesn't seem to stop me from starting new ones.

Oh, Mick, that is just lovely! So much detail and I really love the cabinet with the flat drawers. You know you're an artist when you spend as much time on a room that isn't public as on one that is.

They roll on some period brass sheaves set in the bottom of the doors that run on brass tracks made from bar stock set into the cabinet. The top has a system I devised where bronze bushes are held vertically by a brass screw and free to rotate - these run in slots set into the top of the cabinet. You can lift the sashes clear of the tracks, pull them forward then drop them down and out of the cabinet, should you need. hope that makes sense
