It's not so much erosion but a better looking backyard with more usable space instead of a hill. I dont plan on connecting it to the house, though it has the appearance of doing so. The space between the two is a actually so a truck can still make it down the hill for future work.

Its worth noting this wall isnt finished yet, not to disappoint. Its close to being done but as with anything I've had idea on how to improve it ei: like a firepit. Moving on...

This is it completed for the time being, I ran out of rocks from the front of the house. Then proceeded to located two people via craigslist and take a large amount from both. I do feel bad for whomever is lucky enough to ever try removing this large wall because there is a LOT of rocks even as it sits.

It's worth noting three section are complete the beginning nearest to the house, then the middle of the ogee curve, and (you guessed it) the end section.

Notalented, now that your a stand still with your project, I have 150 ft of riverbank that needs retaining.

Haha, well you best get on that lol...

It's been a little while since my last post but I'm not quite up to date yet. Yes their is in fact more! I moved on to the front of my house which has not only included the foundation itself but removal of the front patio and steps. Which cost a surprising amount to remove either 9 tons or 13 tons (I forget which).
