5? Seems odd; how many different dish networks are there? I only know of two.

Some looked old...I think they kept upgrading without taking down the old ones...it was very satisfying taking them down. All I have up there now is a cell signal amplifier, which I highly recommend for rural areas. It's not too big.

Thanks guys! Feels good to see it gone. Now I am struggling to get the back chimney fixed. I am so frustrated trying to coordinate with the contractors because no one seems to be able to communicate. I swear everything takes forever to get even relatively straight forward things taken care of. It's driving me up a wall!

Just tell them they'd better have it done before Santa has to deliver presents or he'll put them on the naughty list.
Hope they soon juggle together better for you.

I love seeing what everyone is working on. It keeps me so inspired! The best I've got is that I've finally repainted the kitchen. It feels kind of silly to post, but with a toddler underfoot, it feels like a huge accomplishment. Apologies for the mess.
I don't have a before picture, but you can see the old color above the stove, where a backsplash will go.

Re: What I did at my house today...
his project may take a while...
I am sure you're wondering why I am only doing the edge of the ceiling... it's because the (hired) exterior painter is going to paint the porch in the next few days and I don't want to ruin it with the heat gun when I eventually strip the ceiling. So I am feverishly trying to get it done prior to his work being done.
Old home ownership at its finest: even something you're paying for creates more work. Also, the price for someone to strip, sand, and paint was ridiculous. So here I am.

Haha, figured since I rushed my post.
In short, I don't want to ruin the painter's work along the edge when I use the heat gun. So, I'm trying to get the 6"-12" around the edge stripped prior to him beginning.
