Willa, yes it seems cheap in comparison. What caught my eye, are the floors. Each room has a different pattern.

I wonder if the pocket door is still there behind that weird infill conversion. Looks like it may have had a commercial/office life already

Yes it does Mick, maybe a law firm, I donut think it was a firm with lots of foot traffic.

Yes, and plenty of other details, too. Ron, with its Gothic details it looks like it might be about the same age as your house. The ell off the back of the house is a nice feature. That floor plan makes a house feel roomy.
