Cool! Maybe a 1920's model? It gives off a Deco vibe.

Maybe. I seriously love the house it's in but I don't need another Bungalow sized project right now. It's SOOOO original! Even the kitchen isn't updated <3
There are issues...like it wasn't properly flashed around a chimney and it leaked for so long it rotted everything and destroyed the plaster. The electric still has those screw in socket things that you screw an outlet into. It's full of wallpaper, even the ceilings...
But OMG

I built a chimney for a comrade old;
I did the service not for hope or hire:
And then I travelled on in winter’s cold,
Yet all the day I glowed before the fire.

Re: Squared off clawfoot tub?
This is a fairly uncommon tub. I've only seen one other like it in person. I can't remember who made it, but the casting date in the bottom of the iron was 1933 or thereabouts.
By the early '30s when the Art Deco look had firmly taken root, clawfoot tubs were starting to be seen as "dated". That probably explains why we don't see too many of these today - not that many were sold in the first place.

Makes sense, thanks! It's a mid 1800's home and I think the bathroom was the pantry.
I can't stop thinking about it but I don't know that I can make it work (financially and workability). The kitchen is awesome but there's like no place for a stove, fridge, sink and cabinets! The sink is in another room currently lol and the only cabinets are the ones in the photo. Such a funky size and layout...

As odd as the tub looks, I think it was chosen for the knocked off corner. Just think how many shins would get bruised if the tub corner stuck straight out into doorway.

I know the feeling.
