So we were pulling out some walls today, and stumbled upon this wallpaper (found under wooden paneling, covered with drywall). It is so beautiful, and is crumbling - but its hand painted and I am so curious about this pattern! On the back of one of the pieces is signed by "Roger..." and I can't make out the last name.
The house was built in 1892 by a German immigrant. This wall was located by the original entry where the staircase used to be.
Anyone have any insights about this? It almost looks like Art Deco / Arts and Craft movement style...

Onionhouse, the people who built your home were modern home decorators for the time, classic styled art Nuevo wall paper.

Or almost Craftsman. We saved bits of ours, and left a bit of the original on the dining room wall. I looked on the web, but never found any of them.
