I did call the previous owners when I found it, and they told me that it was here when they, and the owners before them, moved in.
It's another old house treasure! $37 for a stove. Would love to know what they got for their $37!! The box is full of old letters, recipes, newspaper clippings, and little notes! One day I will sit and go through it all.
