Thanks! I have one of my former baseball players stripping the ceiling for 8 hours today. My hope is that he makes a nice dent.

Finally some progress. Next is getting the trim in, calling the glass company, and getting the ceiling installed.

Crawled out of the bedroom window on to the porch and painted the outside windows. I am finally getting rid of the white profiles of the crappy vinyl windows and made them the reddish trim color of the doors on the house... NOW the house really lives in harmony without the white fighting the rest of the colors... To think it took me 10 years to get to that finishing stroke.

Well, things have been needlessly complicated but I feel like I am inching forward with progress. It took my dad and I a whole day to connect this sink because the plumber made a mistake about where the waste pipe was ran. It was incredibly exhausting and involved some "creative plumbing"! I still have a bit of clean up to do on the sink's finish because the product I used did not set up as quickly as they claimed it would and so there are some imperfections I need to touch up. I swear, nothing is simple lately!

But you can start to see where I am headed....I think it will be pretty when it is done!

Thanks, guys! :)
Bit by bit, she's getting there!

The mason finally did the repair on the back chimney and my roofer will be doing the flashing on Saturday. So, more progress there!
