Re: Hello from 1698!!!
I hit a short term dead end researching the history of owners of this house. I was able to go as far back with one owner that lived from 1730-1770. The town this house is in, originally was part of another. I went to that town hall, and was told that records for the period I am searching for are not at that building, but ANOTHER town, that these two towns were originally a part of and to even check the capital city of Providence. I will continue my search!!!

Re: Hello from 1698!!!
I attached pictures of the living room into the dining room and one of the dining room into the bedroom room. The dutch oven fireplace in the bedroom is attached to the fireplace in the dining room. The smaller fireplace in the living room must be attached somehow, due to the fact there is only one chimney.
Found this chair to reupholster in the attic. There is a house length work table in the attic. It looks like it was carved out of a tree and built up there. I found a loom up there and it looks like one more fireplace! Also found a couple of lamps that would need the wiring redone.
I will take pictures of the attic next time I go up there. Kind of busy filling in holes, lol!

That is so interesting! It's like 3 fireplaces in one! I've never seen that before.
