I had the conversation with them and we are all on the same page. The contractor assured them that the posts would be sunk deep enough - which on a 7' fence should be 4' due to the frost line. We measured the longest post (where the ground is lowest) and it was 7'2". He had to trim a little off...

New Fence Woes/Advice Needed !

My neighbour arranged to have their contractor replace the deteriorating fence between our properties. The new fence went up quickly - but aside from some cosmetic issues (stringers placed at arbitrary heights on my side) it feels wobbly - I can easily shake it with one hand. I am NOT a carpenter so...

I haven't used his services (yet - I hope to) but the work on the site looks really good.

Maybe if your friend needs a second opinion ? Plus he also carries Sarco putty for you Canadian DIY folks.
