Re: 'We're looking for a crazy historian'

There is a duplex in Whitman Mass. the roof is 2 different colors. It is eye catching in the wrong sort of way. At least they agree on the main body house color.

The roof looks more blue to the right than what shows in the photo.

Screen Shot 2017-02-19 at 12.23.29 AM.png Lilly, I by far am no expert. The house just by sight didn't sit well when I look at it. Others may want to chime in on what they think. But this house does not appear to follow the design rules of the era in which it was built. I took a screen shot of 3 ho...

Re: 'We're looking for a crazy historian'

Looks like a great house and one like it around here even in our not much to offer town would easily run in the $450's or more. $265 sounds give away...
I did notice it is a duplex on a tiny lot.
The house is fantastic.

Re: Old House Sites

One of my favorite haunts that I have not been back to in a good 6 months. It has helped me figure a few things out about my own house. I love taking trips into what others have done.

Re: Ever get discouraged?

Willa... I laughed at the kidney problems. I don't get that either, like every bedroom has to be ensuite to be desirable.

All I have is a full bath upstairs and a 3/4 on the first floor

Gothichome, you do have a good excuse... I can't imagine some of the justification of some of the stuff I see in the Real Estate listings....

Re: Morons and their Work

This is the neighborhood I lived in for so many years and couldn't wait to get out of!!! I bop through the Real Estate listing to see what the area is doing... I found a nice remuddle. The house is a slab foundation ranch. There is no full attic, but you can store things up there... They took out th...
