This was added in 1981 according to the tax card. It's concrete block, and the back wall has a vertical crack.

There are so many goodies packed into this garage, and we're still not quite sure what is staying or not. Hopefully ALL of it stays--we've asked for as much but still haven't gotten an official yes or no.

I actually found an image of an adorable art deco full service garage with the overhang for the gas pumps. This is now a way down the line in stages project we want to do to imitate the look, with the overhang being a car port, and the "pumps" being an outdoor pizza oven/barbeque set up. The overhang would go to the right side.

If you are wondering, yes the neighbor's clothesline attaches to our garage. She's an elderly widow so I'm not going to fuss about something that's obviously been a good neighbor thing for a while. Down the road, though, we'll see if the home changes families or not. It may have to come down temporarily anyhoo when we change the garage.
