I didn't realize all the shots I tried to take of this were blurry--apologies.
When I removed the rick, rack, I specifically did the wider thicker threads binding the straws first so because using the stitch ripper could have cut them. I wasn't yet sure if I would reuse them yet, so I decided to pull them out first before running the stitch ripper on the finer threads.
